We're seeking inclusive and committed team members to fill a Packer/Filler position in AMP (Auto-Multi Pack) at Frito-Lay, where you will be responsible for constructing boxes and packing them full of products you already know and love. Although you will start with Frito-Lay, this job can open the door to career opportunities with our parent company, PepsiCo.
We are open 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule. As a Full-Time Packer, you would work between 40-50 hours per week and be eligible to receive full benefits including health insurance, dental and vision, retirement benefits including 401(k) with company contribution, plus more.
It's a physical job! While all are welcome to apply, understand that you will be on your feet the entirety of your shift. Packers are expected to stay on the line until relieved for break. We're seeking individuals who are flexible, committed, and safety-focused.
Here are some of the tasks that you could expect to perform during the workday:
- Construct boxes and pack them manually or with the help of automated machines.
- Maintain housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required
Empty cases of product into bins and ensure proper level is maintained to prevent downtime
Track product consumption levels and order additional product based on run schedule using ICS
Knock down cases and palletize KDs
Quality check on product loaded into Singulators
Organize reject product in designated area for rework
Troubleshoot issues on the Singulator machines and Adept robots
Trash rejected product and track reason to provide feedback to production teams, take totes to Bakery Feeds
Sort through Adept Robot rejects (trash bad product and return good product to the line)
Changeover Singulators to run new SKUs
Check quality and code dates on Cubes/Sacks/Trays
Run ACE machine and keep cases replenished
Change labels and ensure correct carton date
Other duties assigned as needed for business requirements
